Kayla’s journey began in 2011 at West Virginia University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, showcasing her commitment to understanding the intricacies of criminal justice. As a testament to her outstanding leadership and service, she was one of only 8 students in her graduating class to receive the University’s prestigious honor of the Order of Augusta.
Originally from Lincoln County, WV, Kayla now resides in Murfreesboro, TN, with her husband and one year old son. When she’s not chasing her son around the house, she enjoys reading, impromptu dance parties, playing fiddle badly, attempting to cook, and making hilarious (in her opinion) mom jokes.
